Dr Zheng-Shu Zhou received his PhD in Engineering (Radar Remote Sensing) from the Tohoku University, Japan. Following postdoctoral work with JST, he moved to Australia in 2005 and worked with the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the University of Adelaide, where he developed the Australia’s first ground-based polarimetric SAR interferometer system for vegetation monitoring and quantitative bio-physical parameter retrieval, simulation of along-track SAR interferometry for moving target indication, and inverse SAR imaging and target recognition. With the expertise in radar remote sensing, Zheng-Shu has been responsible for the SAR components for most radar related projects since joining CSIRO in 2009. As the founding coordinator, he has been leading the CSIRO’s SAR Community of Practice, responsible for staff training, investigation, consultation and promotion of SAR techniques and applications to agriculture, land and maritime for various business units. Zheng-Shu is a senior member of the IEEE and PI or Co-PI of major SAR missions. His research interests include radar system integration and calibration, signal processing and radar imaging, electromagnetic scattering, radiometric and geometric corrections, polarimetric SAR interferometry, quantitative remote sensing for environmental and biophysical parameter estimation and target indication etc.
周正舒是澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织（CSIRO）教授，IEEE高级会员，CSIRO遥感和图像分析团队雷达遥感监测小组负责人。于2005年移居澳大利亚，并与阿得雷德大学电气与电子工程学院合作，曾建立了澳大利亚首个用于植被监测和参数提取的地基极化干涉雷达系统，目前主要负责SAR相关技术在农业和陆地监测等领域的工作。自2009年加入CSIRO以来，一直负责大部分雷达相关的项目。研究领域包括雷达系统构建与校正、雷达成像与雷达信号处理、极化SAR干涉测量等。
